Church Links
As a Church of England School, founded in the 1890’s, we are proud of our Church links. Church Schools play a significant role in the educational landscape of the United Kingdom.
At Hindlip CE First School we deeply value the spiritual dimension brought within the traditions of the Church of England, the strength of our RE curriculum, the high quality of our educational offer, the ethos and character of values deeply rooted in Christian values, our historical legacy of mass education and of course our strong community ties.
These strong links are maintained with our local parish church community at St. Michaels and All Angels Church in Salwarpe and Fernhill Heath Baptist Church.

There is a wide variety of worship at Salwarpe Church. They would be delighted to see you at any acts of worship and they continue to stream the traditional service every Sunday.
Fernhill Heath Baptist Church has Sunday Services with Morning Worship at 11.00 am
with a programme for children. They also continue to stream their service each week.
Follow the links to find out more.
We also share links with Tibberton Church, The Church of St. Peter-ad-Vincula and with the benefice of Bowbrook.
Visits to the school by local clergy are central to school life. E.g. to take collective worship; involvement in the governance of the school, with Revd Laura Handy and Minister Jeff Porter acting as two of our foundation governors; with school services held in conjunction with the churches throughout the year.
